Good morning everyone. Happy Wednesday!

Below you will find the work and activities for the day.  After the zoom meeting, we will have the Wednesday tutor group session, which will allow us to discuss in small groups how the home learning is going, and will also give the children an opportunity to speak to their friends in a smaller group setting.

Reading

Learning objective – To make inferences from a picture.

Today for reading we are going to be looking at an interesting picture and making inferences about it. There are some  questions to answer and you will find those and the picture on the document below. You don't need to print this out.  See what inferences you can make from the picture. I look forward to seeing what you think.

Topic

Learning objective - To use drawing or a computer design program to share ideas.

Today in topic you are going to design (on paper or using a computer) a poster featuring a new superhero such as Anti-Litterman and convey their important message. Think about ways your new superhero could help our planet. You might think of something like Tree-girl who goes around planting new trees, or Cool-boy who uses his powers to combat global warming.  I can't wait to see all you amazing creative ideas!
