Today we will continue to work on a range of tasks as part of our home learning. We will begin with maths work, with a warm up using a maths game. The Year 1 children will be working on addition and subtraction using a number line. Year 2 children will be looking at multiplication sentences using the X sign. Our reading task today links with a short animated film with the children answering some questions about how think the characters felt. Our topic work today is writing about our favourite superhero, and drawing a picture of them. Phonics looks at the 'er' sound and writing sentences using those words.
Have a fun day!

To finish you can play Poop Deck Pirates, you can either select 'ur/er' sound words, or try another set. Remember, not all the words in this game are real words!
