Reading Task - How the Fly saved the River

RE – From last week’s question

Being a fisher of people is a practical action Jesus wanted his disciples to help him do. It did not mean they were going to go around with nets actually catching people!

By following the example of Jesus, loving your neighbour, and sharing the teachings and love of God, the disciples then and Christians today brought people into God’s family. These new followers of God want to follow God because of all they had seen and heard.

ROAD TRIP USA!

This work will continue for 3 sessions as it is quite involved.

Find out about some of the most famous physical features of the US, such as the Mississippi River, the Rocky Mountains, Grand Canyon, Everglades National Park, Old Faithful Geyser, Lake Superior and Monument Valley. Look at aerial views of each landmark and think about how they might have been formed. Use resources to describe and compare features and find out if and how they are used by people.

Produce a leaflet giving tourists information about it and encouraging them to visit

Add illustrations (hand drawn or copied from the internet)

Add pictures and text and include websites, opening times and prices.
