Topic Lesson
Learning objective: to record a set of results
Today’s lesson involves tasting four different chocolate bars of your choice and to make some notes about each one. Your task is to copy the table out below including the subheadings (attached document) and to make notes on each chocolate bar you taste based the 5 senses (touch, smell, taste, sound, sight).

Learning Objective: to write an expanded noun phrase to describe a sweet food
The GPS activity today is based on developing our descriptive writing and this will support us in our topic work this week. Your task is to write 5 expanded noun phrases to describe a sweet food on a piece of paper. Below is a PowerPoint which recaps what an expanded noun phrase is and an adjective. The PowerPoint also includes an adjective word mat that describes food you may like to use.
Reading Activity
Learning objective: to complete a set of comprehension questions with different reading domains
Your activity today is to read chapter 2 of Charlie and the Chocolate factory (below) and then complete the comprehension questions.
