Topic Task:

Your task is to find the full names of some US states, using only their state abbreviations (a shortened form of a word such as the United Kingdom would be the UK). On the worksheet below is a map with some US states and their abbreviations. You need to find these states. There is a US map provided to help you locate them. Please don’t worry about printing the worksheet, you can just write the states down on a piece of paper e.g.

WA=Washington

Once you have completed the above task, now add some US states of your own that are not already on the map.

Maths Lesson

Our lesson today will focus on multiplying two-digit and three-digit numbers by a one-digit number using formal written method. The presentation below will explain this in more detail with an audio description. Please note when using the presentation, you will need to enter full-screen mode so that the voice over will work . Once you have done this, go to the right-hand slide of each slide on the presentation where you will see a ‘sound icon’ and, you will need to click on this to access the audio.
