Dodgeball Drama: The Trust Games Heat Up!
Last night, our Year 3 and 4 pupils had an incredible time at the second round of this year’s Trust Games, hosted by Saint George’s School. The Trust Dodgeball Event brought together 11 schools and 110 pupils, and we are thrilled to share that Sedley’s emerged as the winners! 🏆
From the very first game, our pupils showed determination, skill, and fantastic teamwork, throwing themselves into every match with energy and focus. It was wonderful to see the spirit of friendly competition alongside incredible sportsmanship, with our pupils encouraging one another and representing Sedley’s with pride.
The event was fiercely competitive, with two separate three-way ties during the group stages, leading to sudden-death round-robin play-offs. Sedley’s played brilliantly under pressure, securing a well-deserved victory!
We are delighted with the final standings:

A huge thank you to Mr Poppy and Mr Knight from Saint George’s for organising such a smooth and exciting event, and to the young leaders who officiated professionally – your support made the evening run seamlessly.
Our pupils are already excited for the next Trust Games event – the Basketball Event for Years 5 and 6 on 26th January 2026. Events like this are a brilliant way for children to build confidence, work as a team, and enjoy themselves.
Well done to all our Sedley’s pupils – your teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm made this victory possible!
